🛡️ DAY 18: Don't fall into the trap. How to detect scams in Crypto

The crypto world offers freedom, but that freedom attracts scammers. Today we will learn to identify the 3 most common scams so that your capital is always safe. Remember: In crypto, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is a lie.

1️⃣ The "Technical Support" that messages you privately 👤

No moderator, employee of Binance, or any other platform will EVER message you privately (DM) to ask for your keys or offer you technical help.

The rule: If someone contacts you saying "Hello, I'm from Binance support, do you have any problems?", block them immediately.

2️⃣ The raffle of "Send 1 and receive 2" 🎁

It's a classic on social media. They post fake videos or profiles that say: "Send 0.1 BTC to this address and we will return 0.2 BTC as part of a promotion."

The reality: They will never return anything to you. No one gives away money like that. Official Binance giveaways always appear on official channels and within the App, they never ask you to send money to participate.

3️⃣ The groups of "Signals" and guaranteed profits 📈

People who promise you returns of 10% daily or invite you to "VIP" Telegram groups where they assure you that you will get rich quickly if you invest in a platform they control.

The reality: Investment platforms that promise fixed daily earnings are often Ponzi schemes (pyramid scams). Your money stays on their platform and you can never withdraw it.

💡 The 3 commandments of security:

Never share your 12-24 seed phrase words.

Activate 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) via App (Google Authenticator or Binance Authenticator), avoid SMS.

Use the "Anti-Phishing Code" on Binance. It's a word that you choose and that will appear in all real emails Binance sends you. If the email doesn't have that code, it's fake.

🧠 Today's lesson:

Your security is your responsibility. Do not trust strangers who promise easy wealth and keep your private keys under lock and key.

🔥 Tomorrow on Day 19: What is Bitcoin Halving? The event that occurs every 4 years and usually changes the price forever.
