1. Integration with AI & Metaverse Platforms:
- Will collaborate with 3-5 Sui-based AI projects to provide large-scale dataset and machine learning model storage. Special features will be added to enable efficient access and processing of data by AI systems without requiring prior downloads.
- For the metaverse, it will support high-quality 3D asset storage such as character models, virtual environments, and interactive multimedia content, optimized for fast loading within metaverse applications.
2. Developer Grant Program:
- Approximately $15 million from the community reserve will be allocated to developers creating innovative applications using Walrus. Criteria include technical feasibility, ecosystem impact, and user adoption potential.
- Training and technical guidance from the Walrus and Mysten Labs teams will be provided to help developers get started.
3. Storage Node Expansion into Southeast Asia:
- The goal is to add at least 20 new nodes in countries such as Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. This will reduce data access latency for users in this region and enhance network security through improved geographical distribution.
- There will be special incentive programs for parties wishing to become storage nodes in this region, such as lower operational costs and additional rewards during the initial phase.
