The rewards that people get from a node are figured out by looking at a lot of things. The node rewards are calculated based on a combination of factors and these factors are what determine the node rewards. To understand the node rewards we need to consider all of these factors that affect the node rewards.
1. Stake Weight: The amount of @Walrus 🦭/acc staked (including delegate stakes) on the node.
2. Storage: This is the amount of useful data that the Proven Storage system, on the node is storing and we can really count on it. The node has Proven Storage that is storing a lot of data.
3. Protocol Parameters: Adjustable rewards rates set by governance.
The protocol gives out rewards from time to time. These rewards come from the protocols emission schedule and the part of storage fees that is not burned. The rewards are given to the nodes based on how much each node contributes to the protocol. The nodes contribution is what decides how big its reward will be, from the protocol.
