๐๏ธโ๐จ๏ธ Is the Crypto 4-Year Cycle finally dead? Iโve been looking at the news today, and I have to ask: Are we finally witnessing the legendary Super Cycle?
What Is A Super Cycle ?
Super Cycle is the theory that crypto has become so integrated into the world that the old 4-year boom-and-bust rhythm is over. Instead of a massive crash every few years, the market stays strong because itโs no longer just a "retail casino."
Itโs important to remember: this has been predicted many times before (like in 2017 and 2021), and it has never actually happened. The market always ended up crashing 80% in the past.
Potentially, if the Super Cycle happenes the price of $BTC would need to stay between 85-90k during it's LOWS, and make 100k it's new floor price.
๐ In a normal cycle, BTC drops as Altcoins explode.
๐ In a Super Cycle, BTC often stays high as institutions favor the "King" over the "risk."
This metric will tell us which version of history we are living in right now.
Is This Time Really Different?
But looking at the news from yesterday and today, Iโm asking myself if this time is actually different.
First, the "CZ Signal." When the founder of Binance, CZ, tweets that a Super Cycle is likely coming, the whole industry stops to listen. Heโs pointing out that the SEC has officially removed crypto from its 2026 priority risk list. For the first time, the US government isn't treating crypto as a "threat," but as a legitimate market.
Then you have the Trump shift. Between the talk of buying Greenland to secure physical resources and the move to make Bitcoin a legal strategic reserve, the US is treating BTC like digital gold.
If the government starts "HODLing" and potentially seizing reserves from places like Venezuela instead of selling them, the supply shock is permanent.
Plus, look at the economy. With the new US policies removing taxes on tips/overtime and capping interest rates, there is a massive wave of new cash entering the hands of people who want an alternative to banks. Crypto is being used for real-world buy-sell transactions every day now.

๐ฎIโm not claiming itโs a guaranteeโhistory says we should be careful. But if Bitcoin can hold the $85,000โ$90,000 range and turn $100,000 into a permanent floor, the "Crypto Winter" might be gone for good. Is the 4-year cycle finally broken?
๐ฎMy Verdict: We are likely in a version of a Super Cycle, but do not mistake "sustained growth" for "up only." The crashes will still happen, but they may be 30% corrections in a secular uptrend, rather than the 90% death spirals of the past.
