The Necessity of Walrus Network Data Dissemination
Walrus replicates data on many nodes in such a way that it does not have points of failure. Rather than replicating the whole file, it replicates chunks such that the failure of nodes does not hamper the repair process or the access process in the system. Replication provides durability and does not focus on performance.
