Guernsey has confiscated $11.4 million linked to the OneCoin cryptocurrency scam following a court decision using updated 2024 overseas forfeiture laws. The seized assets were held in an offshore account. However, the majority of the stolen funds remain unrecovered due to the difficulties in tracking crypto assets and the use of privacy tools by scammers.
