The Czech Republic's new Cybersecurity Act is effective from November 1, 2025, and introduces changes contained in the EU Directive NIS2 into the Czech legal system.
The main aim of the new regulation is to establish at least a basic level of security in organizations that provide their services in economically, socially, or security-sensitive sectors and meet other selected criteria. Since the NIS2 directive has expanded the scope of regulated sectors and services, the new law will apply to a significantly larger number of organizations.
