2. TACO! No military action against Greenland, tariffs on Europe canceled, all three major US indices rose over 1%. The S&P 500 index closed up 78.76 points, a rise of 1.16%, at 6875.62 points. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed up 588.64 points, a rise of 1.21%, at 49077.23 points. The Nasdaq closed up 270.502 points, a rise of 1.18%, at 23224.825 points.

3. Tesla closed up 2.91%, Nvidia rose 2.87%, Google A rose 1.98%, Meta rose 1.46%, Apple rose 0.39%, Amazon rose 0.13%, while Microsoft fell 2.29%.

4. Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index closed up 2.21%, at 7776.15 points. Among popular Chinese concept stocks, Baidu closed up 8%, Century Internet rose 7.4%, Alibaba rose 3.9%, Yum China rose 2.7%, and Pinduoduo rose 1.4%.

5. TSMC ADR fell 0.3%, AMD rose 7.71%, Intel rose nearly 12%. Storage concept stocks strengthened, SanDisk rose over 10%, with a cumulative increase of over 111% so far in 2026; Western Digital rose over 8%, and Micron Technology rose over 6%.

6. Spot gold once approached a high of 4900 USD, then retreated. Spot silver fell 1.3%, and at one point during the session, it dropped to the 90 mark.
