A report by Coldwell Banker reveals that $38.3 trillion will be passed down to Generation X, Millennials, and Generation Z globally over the next ten years. In the U.S. alone, $17.3 trillion is expected to transfer during this period, with these three generations receiving 95% of the total wealth. Real estate accounts for over 10% of the global wealth being transferred, with $2.4 trillion of real estate changing hands in the U.S., representing 52% of worldwide real estate asset transfers.
