Unable to pay for housing, the man was forced to spend half a year... in a tree. Life sometimes drives people into circumstances where the choice seems unimaginable and cruel. This happened to a resident of Malaysia, who lived among the branches for a full six months. He built himself an improvised "home", hanging his modest belongings right on the tree, and slept at a respectable height, risking falling down every day.
Previously, the man earned a living by making pillows, but after losing his job, he was left without income, and then without means to survive. This led him to such a desperate decision. The only advantage of such a shelter was the relative seclusion — the dense crown reliably hid him from prying eyes.
Fortunately, this story caught the attention of a well-known Malaysian philanthropist, Kuan Chi Heng. He helped the homeless man financially, giving him a chance to rent a room and start life anew.
