Users on X have raised concerns about the rising number of fake accounts exploiting real-time voice tags to spread phishing scams. Approximately 22,600 new fraudulent accounts are active, making manual reporting and blocking ineffective. Nikita Bier, X’s product leader and Solana advisor, acknowledged the problem and affirmed that efforts to develop a technical solution are underway.
