Radio frequencies are lacking for everyone, while station archives on the internet disappear faster than they appear. So why not throw raw recordings of broadcasts into Walrus? To create a huge, uncontrolled treasure trove of sound — a true audio history of humanity.
This moment is often described differently, although I believe the essence is somewhat different.
The voices that echoed on the air yesterday, today, tomorrow, they can no longer be silenced, deleted, or rewritten. They are just uploaded and lie there, as if in concrete. I always thought that history could be adjusted, cleaned up, replaced. But now I understand that if it is "uploaded" into code in time, then let the whole world burn, but it will still remain. And that calms me a bit.@Walrus 🦭/acc #walrus $WAL
