Daria shows a visible balance in her wallet (USD 120.48), but when trying to convert it to her local currency, the system indicates $0 available.

This creates confusion… but it has an explanation 👇

🔍 Why is this happening?

There are several possible causes, and it's almost always one of these:

🔹 1. The balance is NOT in the correct wallet

Binance has several types of wallets:

Spot Wallet

Funding Wallet (P2P)

Earn Wallet

Web3 / On-chain Wallet

📌 Many times the amount you see is:

In Earn (locked or generating yield), or

In Web3/on-chain, it does not convert directly to local currency.

👉 Solution:

Go to Wallet → Transfer and move the balance to Spot or Funding.

🔹 2. The balance is in a crypto, not in fiat

Although the value is shown in USD, the money may be in:

USDT

BUSD

another cryptocurrency

📌 To convert to local currency:

Must be in Funding for P2P, or

Sell on Spot first.

🔹 3. Incomplete or limited KYC

If the verification:

It is pending

It has expired

Or has restrictions

Binance can:

Show the balance

But block conversion or withdrawal

👉 Solution:

Profile → Verification → complete or update KYC.

🔹 4. Local currency not selected correctly

Sometimes the system:

Shows the balance in USD

But local currency for conversion is not set up

👉 Review: Profile → Preferences → Local currency.

✨ Conclusion

Just because you see a balance does NOT mean it's ready to be converted to local currency.

First, you need to verify:

✔️ Where is the money

✔️ What type of wallet

✔️ KYC Status

✔️ Correct method (Spot or P2P)

Calmly and orderly, the money can indeed be used
