Silver Is Putting Gold To Shame

Gold prices are on a tear this year. But one often overlooked precious metal is doing even better. IShares Silver Trust (SLV) is up 35% this year, says Morningstar Direct.
That's many times better than the 1.1% return of the S&P 500. But more impressively this year, it's also lapping the 14.1% gain of abrdn Physical Gold Shares ETF (SGOL).
