The governance framework at Taiko is advancing in step with our protocol development. We are currently inviting the community to weigh in on two key updates.

The first item is a request to decrease the on-chain veto duration from 21 days to 10 days, which would effectively condense the total governance lifecycle from 28 days down to 17 days.

Simultaneously, the Hoodi testnet upgrade has officially gone live. This represents the concluding testnet phase necessary to verify stability before we proceed with a proposal for the Shasta mainnet.
