This is FEAR and GREED.

Today we will talk about fears.

In my short time in crypto, I have already heard/read about many fears.

  • One of the biggest scare stories is the threat to cryptographic security $BTC due to quantum computing.

  • No less frightening is the end of the 4-year cycle. It is believed that traditional Bitcoin cycles will not occur and 2026 will be weak due to changes in global liquidity.

  • The next - the collapse of the artificial intelligence bubble, which will pull down all risky assets.

  • Of course, the influence of geopolitics. Wars, conflicts, tariffs, and even the speeches of the US president are causing capital to flee to gold, while the crypto market remains unsupported.

  • Dependence on institutions. Crypto has become part of the global financial system, so now it reacts sharply to the meetings #FOMS and outflows from ETFs. This is what we are currently observing.

  • Regulatory pressure. Although the rules are becoming clearer, the fear of new restrictions on anonymity and DeFi protocols remains relevant.

  • Loss of keys/seed phrase. The eternal fear of forever losing access to the wallet due to one's own carelessness.

  • Hacks and scams. The risk of exploiting smart contracts or falling victim to phishing. Although AI protection tools are becoming more effective, just the other day we faced a data leak.

  • FOMO. The fear of missing the next 'bull run' or the next gem that will shoot up against the backdrop of overall pessimism.

Did I forget anything? If I did, please add it in the comments. Share your fears. Although it's already hard to scare Ukrainians with anything.
My fears are not that global. Right now I only fear not guessing the asset I'm buying. Previously, I fell for all the scary stories I read.

And to not be afraid and not look like this young lady, you need to build your strategy and stick to it.
