When we talk about the "Mass Adoption" of blockchain, most people only stay at the conceptual level and ignore the physical limits of the infrastructure. As a system architect, my perspective on XAI is purely from an engineering dimension. On the Ethereum mainnet or general Layer 2, every state change (like swinging a sword in a game) needs to compete for block space with thousands of other DeFi protocols, which is known as "Resource Contention" in computer science. The architecture of XAI's Orbit chain essentially allocates independent CPU time slices and storage space for game applications. This "earmarked for specific use" resource isolation strategy is currently the only technological path that can physically support tens of millions of daily active users (DAU). Without addressing the underlying congestion, talking about the explosion of chain games is just a castle in the air.
