Virtuals Protocol announced that OpenClaw is set to integrate with the Agent Commerce Protocol (ACP), potentially activating advanced economic features for its self-hosted agents. According to Foresight News, the initial version will enable the integration of OpenClaw agents in buyer mode, allowing for autonomous negotiation of terms and conditions, execution of cryptographic signature proof processes, on-chain escrow for security assurances, and instant settlement via x402 micropayments.

Future versions will introduce additional capabilities, including listing and offering professional skills developed by users or developers or autonomously generated by agents. It will also feature bidirectional interaction, enabling agents to both receive and provide services. Programmable token transactions between agents will facilitate dynamic and incentive-aligned value exchanges. Furthermore, group-level coordination will allow clusters of agents to collaboratively complete complex multi-step workflows, sharing incentives, risk distribution, and emergent optimization.
