The cryptocurrency market extended its downtrend as Ethereum fell more than 7%, dropping below $2,300, while Bitcoin briefly dipped under $75,000. Most sectors including Layer 1, Layer 2, DeFi, CeFi, Meme, and PayFi experienced losses amid weak risk appetite. SocialFi was the only sector showing resilience with modest gains despite the overall market sell-off.
