Startale, a collaboration between Sony and Astar Foundation, has launched Strium, a Layer 1 blockchain focused on forex and tokenized real-world asset trading. Strium offers 24-hour trading and instant settlement capabilities, initially supporting synthetic assets linked to U.S. and Japanese stocks and commodities. Future plans include expanding to tokenized stocks and asset-backed tokens accessible to verified users.
