Two individuals have reportedly lost over $62 million due to address poisoning attacks, a method where attackers deceive users into copying fraudulent addresses. According to NS3.AI, the frequency of signature phishing thefts on Ethereum increased by 207% in January, coinciding with the Fusaka upgrade that reduced transaction costs and inadvertently facilitated more attacks. Additionally, stablecoin-related dust transactions now account for approximately 11% of Ethereum's daily volume. DAI is particularly favored by illicit actors due to its governance resistance against address freezing.
