A Secure Bridge Between Bitcoin and EVM Ecosystems
ZenChain (ZTC) is a Layer 1 blockchain built as a secure interoperability layer, designed to connect Bitcoin’s native value with Ethereum compatible smart contract ecosystems. Its core mission is to solve the long standing liquidity island problem by enabling Bitcoin liquidity to flow into DeFi without relying on custodial or risky bridges.
At its foundation, ZenChain allows users to bridge BTC into the network where it becomes zBTC, a representation that can be used across EVM compatible decentralized applications. This unlocks Bitcoin’s largely idle capital and puts it to work in DeFi NFTs and smart contract driven use cases while maintaining a strong security focus inspired by Bitcoin itself.
From a technology perspective, ZenChain operates as a standalone Layer 1 with a hybrid consensus mechanism built for high throughput and fast finality. Interoperability is not an add on but a native design principle, making cross chain value transfer a core function of the protocol. Full EVM compatibility means developers can easily port Ethereum based tools and applications while benefiting from lower fees and faster execution.
The ZenChain ecosystem is powered by the ZTC token, which has a fixed supply of 21 billion, reflecting a scarcity driven model with no inflationary minting. ZTC is used for transaction fees staking and validator participation as well as ecosystem incentives and grants. A significant portion of the supply is reserved for long term validator rewards, aligning network security with sustained participation.
In essence, Zenchain is building infrastructure rather than hype. It positions itself as a value highway between Bitcoin and EVM chains, aiming to bring Bitcoin liquidity into programmable finance without compromising on security or decentralization
