Crypto Journey Part 4 đĄ | From Liquidations to Long-Term Vision
The morning after my BTC short got liquidated, I barely made it to my U.S. Embassy interview â exhausted and frustrated.
But somehow⌠it went well â
I came home and made a decision:
đ No more futures.
đ Back to Spot investing â with a clearer mind.
I deposited around $1,000 and started over.
This time, I went deep on #CoinMarketCap, researching hundreds of tokens. That night, I began buying $10â$15 worth of every coin that looked promising.
By the end of the night, I held over 30 different cryptocurrencies.
I didnât know it yet, but this was my first real lesson in diversification.
What happened next?
The market started recovering fast â it was December 2022, and the famous âSanta Rallyâ had begun đ đ
I saw some coins grow from $10 to $15 or $20. Gains were small, but steady.
Still, I realized I had spread myself too thin.
So I made another move â
đĄ I sold the small winners
đ° Consolidated into fewer coins with larger positions
đą Started buying stablecoins with fiat for flexibility
In early 2023, my portfolio grew to between $10Kâ$14K.
I focused on new promising projects, like:
đ #Aptos
đ #SUI
đ #ARB
âŚand others I believed in long-term.
Thatâs when I also got curious about airdrops.
I kept seeing posts and videos about people making real money from simple tasks â especially with the hype around Arbitrum and Aptos.
But back then, I was still just a spot investor â buying, holding, and watching.
I hadnât yet joined the airdrop game⌠but I was getting ready.
⸝
đ In Part 5, Iâll talk about how I started actively hunting airdrops, joined campaigns, and discovered the power of being early.
Have you ever been part of a successful airdrop? Or missed one and regretted it? Letâs talk below đ
