🇻🇳 Vietnam’s Crypto Legal Framework

Legal status & progress:

Cryptocurrencies are currently not recognized as legal tender in Vietnam—meaning you can’t use them for payments—but owning and trading crypto is allowed, although not yet regulated .

The government has actively directed the Ministry of Finance and State Bank to draft a digital‐asset legal framework. According to Binance, the framework was expected by end of March 2025 .
