đą Do Crypto â But Do It Halal!
đ Future Trading in Islam: Halal or Haram?
Assalamu Alaikum Crypto Brothers & Sisters! đ
Letâs talk about something many do... but donât fully understand!
â The Big Question:
âIs Future Trading allowed in Islam?â
đĄ What is Future Trading?
You agree to buy/sell a crypto asset (like BTC) at a future date & fixed price,
but you donât actually own the asset â it's just a paper contract đ
đ Islamic Perspective:
According to most Islamic scholars, itâs Haram due to:
â Gharar (excessive uncertainty)
đČ Qimar (gambling/speculation)
đŠ No real delivery of the asset
đž Use of Leverage = Riba (interest)
đ Scholarâs Opinion:
Mufti Taqi Usmani (DB):
âFuture contracts lack both actual possession and ownership â hence, not permissible.â
Darul Uloom Deoband & Al-Azhar University also consider such contracts haram â
â So Whatâs Halal in Crypto?
đ Spot Trading!
Real-time buy/sell
Coins directly in your wallet
No leverage, no interest involved
đ§ Final Verdict:
đŽ Future Trading = Haram (due to speculation & riba)
đą Spot Trading = Halal + Full of Barakah
đą Earn through crypto â but keep it Shariah-compliant!
