A breakout occurs when the price of an altcoin breaks through an important level of support or resistance, usually with increased volume. This movement often indicates the beginning of a new strong trend — either upward (bullish) or downward (bearish).

📈 Types of Breakout:

•Bullish Breakout:

Occurs when the price surpasses a resistance level strongly → may indicate the start of an upward trend.

Example: Altcoin breaks previous high with high volume.

•Bearish Breakout:

The price falls below an important support level → may signal the continuation of the decline.

Example: Altcoin loses weekly support and confirms selling.

🔍 Factors that confirm a breakout:

2•Candle close above/below the breakout zone.

3•Retest of the broken area, followed by continuation.
