Just because the code is public doesnāt mean the app you installed is built from that code.
That APK or iOS app?
- It could be compiled with extra scripts.
- Scripts that exfiltrate your private keys without you ever knowing.

Thereās no way to verify that the Trust Wallet binary (or any wallet binary) is exactly whatās on GitHub.
Even major wallets donāt offer:

Itās a trust black box.

Binanceās brand risk (they own Trust Wallet)
App Store / Play Store malware scans
Dev reputation & public scrutiny
