Compatibility Matters Only When It Respects Boundaries

I slow down when everything claims to connect.

By 2024, traders learned that endless composability often meant shared failure. When one part breaks, everything feels it. That’s why bounded interoperability became a serious topic again, and why Plasma’s approach keeps showing up in careful conversations.

In simple terms, bounded interoperability means systems can connect without becoming dependent. Plasma focuses on clear settlement rules, deterministic finality, and controlled bridges, so risk doesn’t spill across layers. Progress over the past year has been about tightening those boundaries, not expanding them.

Personally, I trust networks that know where to stop. Philosophically, good systems don’t connect everything. They protect what shouldn’t be shared.
