​The ceasefire agreement was supposed to prevent further destruction of civilian infrastructure. Critics and mediators are concerned because this marks the first time since the ceasefire began that Israel has resumed the policy of "pre-warnings" followed by the total destruction of residential blocks in Gaza City.
