Learning From Small Losses — My XPL Trading Experience
Today I reviewed my XPL/USDT spot trading activity, and it reminded me how important execution timing and fees are in short-term trading. I bought 6,214.4 XPL at 0.0818 USDT and later sold 6,208.2 XPL at 0.0816 USDT, which resulted in a small loss. Earlier, I also executed another trade where I bought 1,274.2 XPL at 0.0824 and sold 1,272.9 XPL at 0.0823.
As a trader, I understand these losses are not just numbers — they are lessons. My strategy was based on short momentum, but the market stayed weak and liquidity movement was slower than expected. Even a 0.0002–0.0003 price difference can impact profitability when trading larger amounts.
