Plasma is a blockchain built specifically for sending stablecoins like USDT. Its biggest feature is that you can send USDT with zero fees and you don't even need to own XPL tokens to do it and also the network covers the gas costs for you. This solves a major problem on most blockchains, you need to buy $ETH or $BNB first just to pay fees before you can send your stablecoins. Plasma uses fast technology that confirms transactions in under a second and can handle thousands of transactions per second. It works with all the same wallets and tools that Ethereum uses, making it easy for developers to build on. The XPL token is used to secure the network through staking and to reward validators who run the blockchain. The team is also building a Bitcoin bridge and privacy features.
