1. Internet Computer (ICP) — Currently showing the highest real-time TPS around 1,200+ TPS (with peaks much higher in volume bursts, up to 25k+ in short windows). It has near-instant finality (~0–1 second) and extremely low fees. It's designed for web-scale apps and often leads in live metrics.
2. Solana (SOL) — Very close behind, with real-time TPS frequently in the 1,000–1,400 range (peaks historically up to 5,000+). Theoretical max is 65,000 TPS, block times ~0.4 seconds, but full finality ~12–13 seconds. It's one of the most used for fast DeFi, NFTs, and memecoins, with sub-cent fees.
3.Fogo (newer chain) — Emerging with high real-time numbers (~800 TPS recently) and massive claimed peaks (up to 100,000 TPS), very low latency (~0.04s block time).
