I saw the news that Grayscale has officially filed an S-1 for an $AAVE ETF, my first reaction wasn’t excitement, it was more like quiet surprise. Aave has always felt like one of those strong DeFi projects people respect, but seeing it slowly move toward something this traditional makes it feel different. An ETF idea around it makes the whole thing seem more real, more noticed. I keep thinking about how far DeFi has come, from being something only a small group understood to now being looked at in serious financial spaces. Moments like this don’t feel loud, but they feel important in a deeper way.
