What matter's more in crypto dominance — is it raw throughput, or trust or ecosystem gravity?

Raw throughput doesn’t determine crypto dominance — trust and ecosystem gravity do. We’ve already seen that the fastest chains aren’t the ones leading the market. Networks like Bitcoin $BTC and Ethereum $ETH dominate not because they process the most transactions per second, but because they’ve built deep security, liquidity, developer ecosystems, and long-term credibility.

High TPS can attract short-term attention, but it doesn’t automatically create adoption, decentralization, or resilience. Capital flows where it feels safest, developers build where the users are, and users stay where liquidity and infrastructure already exist. That’s ecosystem gravity — and it compounds over time.

In crypto, speed is a feature. Trust is the foundation. And foundations outlast features.
