Starting next fiscal year, UK investors will be prohibited from including crypto exchange-traded notes (ETNs) in their tax-free Individual Savings Accounts (ISAs). The UK's HMRC will reclassify crypto ETNs as eligible only for Innovative Finance ISAs (IFISAs), which do not offer the same tax advantages. Since most platforms handling IFISAs do not plan to support crypto ETNs, accessing tax benefits through these products will be highly limited.
