Dusk Networks is attempting to expand a specific foundational restriction of open frameworks. Most notable is the inability of transparent ledgers to conduct complex financial activities without revealing strategies, counter parties, or balance sheets. Structures that offer a preference for privacy in institutional participation is a good example of this. Although this positioning simplifies the addressable market for the short term, it does stealthily heighten the relevance for the technology in any milieu where the systems legal or adversarial requirements become more complex.
