@Dusk Network uses Chainlink on DuskEVM so smart contracts can rely on trusted outside data and connect to other blockchains when needed.
Chainlink oracles can provide things like prices or interest rates to apps running on DuskEVM. That’s important because Dusk is built for regulated finance, where contracts can’t work with unclear or easily manipulated data. Using a well-known oracle network helps Dusk reduce reliance on a single data source.
Chainlink’s cross-chain messaging also supports Dusk Network’s goal of not operating in a closed system. If regulated assets and settlement need to interact with other networks, Dusk can do that in a more controlled and verifiable way.
