Plasma does not appear to be designed to wow anyone. It appears to be focused on wrapping things up. Nothing about the transactions seems to be artistic or innovative. It feels as if the transactions have reached a conclusion. Stablecoins zip through the system without drama. It seems Plasma takes it as a given that their dominance is settled and builds on that. Nothing here invites interpretation or faith. It invites compliance to known things. Complexity for some is a choice. For Plasma, that choice is to get rid of complexity because a system focused on money is not the place for ambiguity. More than a blockchain, Plasma feels more like a place where restless value can finally come to rest.
