According to Odaily, the U.S. Department of Justice has seized 127,000 BTC linked to Chen Zhi, chairman of Cambodia’s Prince Group.

These bitcoins were stolen in a 2020 hack of the LuBian mining pool, worth $3.5B then — now valued at over $15B.

The operation is being called a “black-on-black” cyber move, suggesting the U.S. may have used state-level hacking to recover the funds.

This marks one of the largest Bitcoin seizures in history, exposing the deep ties between crypto, crime, and global power.
