In the second week of January 2026, Dusk officially launched its DuskEVM Mainnet. This was a turning point for the project:
• Solidity Compatibility: Developers can now use the standard Ethereum programming language (Solidity) to build apps on Dusk.
• Built-in Privacy: Unlike Ethereum, these apps have "Privacy by Design." A bank can use the network to move money without revealing their balance to the public, while still allowing a regulator to audit the transaction.
• Hyperstaking: With the mainnet live, a new staking model called "Hyperstaking" has been introduced, offering yields as high as 30% APY to incentivize early network security.
