When blockchain is discussed online, the focus is usually on speed, fees, or price movement. But real financial systems operate on a different set of priorities.

They care about settlement finality.

They care about data boundaries.

They care about legal clarity.

@Dusk What I noticed while reading today is that this protocol seems built with those priorities in mind. Instead of forcing financial activity into a fully transparent model, it offers an environment where verification and confidentiality can coexist.

That design choice may reduce mass-market excitement, but it dramatically increases relevance for serious financial use.

From my perspective, that tradeoff is intentional — and possibly necessary
