🇺🇸⏸ In America, crypto regulation is stalled again

The adoption of the key law on crypto market regulation in the United States has come to a halt.

The Senate Banking Committee has postponed the vote, which was scheduled for January 15 🗓

📄 We're talking about a document similar to the CLARITY Act from the House of Representatives.

It should:

• allocate authority between the SEC and CFTC

• define the status of digital assets

• introduce new disclosure requirements

🧩 But there's a problem:

The bill needs to be combined immediately with two other versions —

▫️ from the Senate Committee on Agriculture

▫️ from the Banking Committee (prepared in November and January 12)

🤔 Support is still lacking

• some lawmakers are doubtful

• the crypto industry is not enthusiastic

• Coinbase has explicitly stated that certain sections of the document require revision

📌 Regulatory clarity is being delayed,

meaning volatility and nervousness will remain.
