Dusk Network has been secretly working over the course of over seven years on developing the type of privacy technology that regulated finance actually requires. Dusk also presents programmable privacy instead of giving users the option of full transparency or complete secrecy. The transactions can just be transparent when it is necessary to open the information, and it can also be secret when it is necessary to protect confidential data, but it must be verifiable to meet the requirements of compliance.
Being a Layer-1 blockchain as an institutional blockchain, Dusk is centered on compliant DeFi and tokenized real-world assets. Zero-knowledge proofs are incorporated at the protocol level, providing privacy and auditability so that regulators do not need to release personal or financial information into the public just to prove activity. This is the most important balance to banks, exchanges, and issuers of assets going on-chain.

Due to the release of DuskEVM, it is now possible to construct with known Ethereum tools and still utilize the privacy-first infrastructure of Dusk. The network is moving out of vision to implementation, providing actual monetary applications which address confidentiality of users as well as regulatory policies. Dusk is not in the business of chasing hype it is in the business of laying the groundwork of what on-chain finance will become.
