I’m sharing this incident to spread awareness within the crypto community. This can happen to anyone, especially during live sessions and multitasking.

📍 Situation
At the time, I was at Twin Tulips, hosting a live session on Binance Square, while simultaneously attending an important meeting on my mobile phone. My attention was divided.

🔐 Before the Incident
Two days prior:

  • My Gmail account was compromised

  • The attacker used email access to target my Binance account

  • Despite having 2FA enabled, access was eventually gained

  • I immediately:

    • Informed my Binance BDM

    • Contacted Binance Customer Support

🎥 During the Live Session

  • I noticed unusual activity on my account

  • I informed my co-host and said:
    “Please manage the live session, I need to focus on an urgent meeting.”

  • While the co-host handled the live, I focused on the meeting

🚨 Suspicious Activity

  • My Binance account logged out automatically

  • When I tried to log in again, a QR code appeared asking me to scan for re-login

📱 QR Code Incident

  • After scanning the QR code:

    • My screen froze and lagged

    • The account logged out and back in automatically

    • The attacker withdrew $831 from my Spot Wallet

💸 Loss Details

  • Total loss: $831

  • Thankfully:

    • No extra funds were in the Spot Wallet

    • Earnings funds remained safe

  • I contacted Binance CS immediately

  • Submitted full details:

    • Timeline

    • Screenshots

    • Live session context

  • Case is under internal investigation
