According to RTHK, Ukrainian negotiators are heading to Abu Dhabi for the second round of U.S.-mediated trilateral talks with Russia and Ukraine, scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday this week. Additionally, the UK government stated that the leaders discussed the joint military base in Diego Garcia, located in the Indian Ocean. The statement noted that the UK has reached an agreement to maintain control over the UK-U.S. joint military base, ensuring national security. Both parties agreed on the strategic importance of the base in the current international security landscape and committed to ongoing communication and cooperation on related issues, with plans for further discussions as needed.
