Recently, there may be a period of sideways consolidation, or perhaps another sharp decline for shaking out weak hands. Sudden drop ✅ Sideways ✅
You can try to set buy orders at some points; sharp drops often break levels, and buying in at some ice-cold prices can be quite comfortable. A quick spike can lead to a rebound.
I basically have no spot holdings.
Except for some $SOL for on-chain trading.
And some $TIA holding Mammoths.
Basically, I have nothing on-chain anymore.
Every round of consolidation is for the next move to a higher place. If it can't go up, it has to come down slowly; being stuck at the top and absorbing altcoin liquidity is uncomfortable for everyone.
When the market is up, Ethereum compensates, and altcoins behave accordingly; this is the normal pattern.
When the market is up, Ethereum lags, and altcoins are weak; this is a blood-sucking mode. With insufficient market liquidity, I usually choose to stay in cash and observe market trends. I will act when a certain opportunity arises.
Also, in a bull market, don't short; declines might be gradual, while rises happen in an instant.
