The Guild Advancement Program (GAP) Season 9 is now officially launched, featuring a brand-new rewards map specially designed for hardcore task players, along with more exciting challenges for on-chain guilds.
Explorers will experience the 12 hottest games in Web3, including three new games launched in collaboration with HyperPlay, as well as three returning games from Immutable. YGG Future of Work (FoW) partners Navigate and Sapien will also return to the field, bringing more opportunities to the community in AI, machine learning, and DePIN fields. YGG Pilipinas will also launch an initiative inspired by the (Metaverse Filipino Worker) (MFW) short film, inviting MFWs from around the world to share their Web3 journey stories.

GAP Season 9 includes tasks designed in collaboration with 14 partner projects, with more tasks to be launched soon.
Season 9 will feature 12 games, providing new options for casual players, esports newcomers, and MMORPG super players.
Making its debut in GAP this season is the Web3 trading card game (TCG) Vibes, which has captured the hearts of pro players like YGG Esports' Sequinox. Since its initial release in December 2024, Pudgy Penguins has attracted Web3 players worldwide with its adorable characters and engaging game mechanics.
YGG has also partnered with the Web3-native game store HyperPlay to bring three new games to the GAP lineup. The new games include sci-fi MMORPG MetaCene and a social game inspired by Clash Royale, Party Icons, both of which play a crucial role in the popular games within the YGG community. Additionally, the fantasy MMORPG Ember Sword on HyperPlay is another highly anticipated game set to land in GAP, which had generated significant attention during its early bird version launch in December 2024.
Other community-favorite games include the monster battle RPG Aurory: Seekers of Tokane, retro pixel-style RPG DeFi Kingdoms, and casual fishing simulation game Fishing Frenzy. Due to widespread acclaim for the games launched by Immutable in Season 8, this season will also see the return of Immortal Rising 2, Mystery Society, and RavenQuest, along with the classic GAP games Anichess and Nifty Island.
In addition, Future of Work (FoW) partners will also provide a batch of new bounty tasks, which can be explored at the start of the season for Navigate and Sapien tasks, with more tasks to be announced soon. FoW participants are encouraged to collaborate, share knowledge, and help each other acquire new skills in areas such as data labeling, AI training, and DePIN tasks. With the growing momentum of on-chain guild platforms, this season may welcome a new wave of guild enthusiasm focusing on future skills.

Explorers who have completed the rewards map can embark on a new journey this season.
The Guild Advancement Program (GAP) Season 9 will focus more on on-chain guilds, introducing a wider variety of guild tasks to meet the needs of communities of all types and sizes. Guilds can expect tasks targeting most games in the game lineup to be launched in March.
The on-chain guild platform will also undergo further improvements. This includes making navigation on the guild page more convenient, clearly showcasing guild achievements in member profiles, providing more refined guild management tools, and a comprehensive user interface overhaul to ensure a smoother experience across all devices.
The rewards center will continue to add fun to the community's task experience, launching a brand-new rewards map for players who completed tasks in Season 8. Shortly after the start of Season 9, task players will be able to claim a series of new token rewards as they complete tasks and collect YGG points.
This season, the staking center will also undergo a major update with an all-new rewards map. Compared to previous seasons, the new calculation method will provide players with higher multipliers. This enhancement will apply to all stakers, including those who have already stored YGG tokens in the staking center treasury. The cap for staking in the Guild Advancement Program (GAP) Season 9 has also been raised to 200,000 YGG tokens, allowing task players to achieve a maximum expansion factor of 5 times, compared to the previous maximum of 3.5 times in earlier seasons.
Those players who use their YGG token rewards to redeem premium passes can complete advanced tasks to earn exclusive in-game items, custom skins, and a large number of YGG points. Task participants can also increase their rewards by joining the newly launched YGG-RON liquidity mining pool reward program on Katana.
