With the participation of the Trump sons.. Launch of a new American company for Bitcoin mining!
Hut 8 (specializing in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency mining) announced the launch of American Bitcoin Corp as a majority-owned subsidiary, which will exclusively focus on Bitcoin mining and the development of strategic reserves of the digital currency, in a move reflecting the growing American interest in enhancing its leadership in the digital asset sector.
This launch comes after Hut 8 acquired a majority stake in American Data Centers Inc, a company founded by a group of investors including Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr.
According to the company, the new entity has been restructured to operate under the name "American Bitcoin Corp", becoming a key player in the mining sector, benefiting from advanced technical capabilities and infrastructure.
As part of the deal, Hut 8 transferred all its Bitcoin mining equipment to the new entity in exchange for an 80% stake in the project, while Eric Trump will take on the role of Chief Strategy Officer at the company, reflecting the increasing connection of the cryptocurrency sector with political and economic circles in the United States.
