Axelar has integrated the Sui mainnet, unlocking infinite liquidity for Sui chain assets and applications

BlockBeats news, on May 8, the Sui mainnet has officially achieved interoperability connection through the cross-chain interoperability network Axelar (AXL). Asset issuers can seamlessly deploy native assets to the Sui network through the secure cross-chain token service (Interchain Token Service, ITS) provided by Axelar, bringing users an interaction experience without the need to perceive the chain.

This integration comes at a time when DeFi activities on the Sui chain are surging, with over 1.4 million daily active addresses driving over 11 billion dollars in transaction volume in the past 30 days.

Currently, multiple leading projects in the Sui ecosystem, including Aftermath, AlphaFi, and Bluefin, have begun to access Axelar's cross-chain capabilities, promoting Sui to become a DeFi infrastructure with global liquidity.
