The 25 largest buyers, some of them foreign, received as an additional prize a VIP visit to the White House, raising concerns about potential violations of foreign political funding laws. Since its launch in April, the value of $TRUMP has skyrocketed, generating over 148 million dollars in income for the Trump family. Among the main investors is Chinese entrepreneur Justin Sun, who invested 23 million dollars. Critics, such as Senators Chris Murphy and Elizabeth Warren, have denounced the event as a serious case of corruption.
